The copper-silica-based mesoporous materials have new catalytic active sites for the pure silica mesoporous materials due to the redox ability of the copper itself,thus realizing the multi-functionalization of the mesoporous materials, and have given wide attention by domestic and foreign scholars. In this paper, the fabrication methods of copper-silicon based mesoporous materials including direct synthesis and synthetic post-transplantation two classes of approaches are introduced and analyzed in detail, the advantages and disadvantages of different synthesis methods are compared. The application status of copper-silicon based mesoporous materials in catalysis, adsorption, separation, and other fields in recent years is reviewed and its application prospects are also prospected.
