中子三軸譜儀是最早被發(fā)明，同時也是應(yīng)用最廣泛的中子散射譜儀之一。它利用了單色器、樣品、和分析器3個轉(zhuǎn)動軸的原理，使測量時可以直觀地觀測倒空間和能量空間的某一個點的散射性質(zhì)，因此非常適合研究固體中的各種元激發(fā)。簡單介紹了三軸譜儀的基本原理，然后給出一些三軸譜儀應(yīng)用的例子。在這些例子中，既包括彈性散射也包括非彈性散射，例如銅單晶中的聲子譜，非常規(guī)超導(dǎo)體中的磁共振峰，PrOs4As12中的晶格場，以及單層錳氧化合物Pr1-xCa1+xMnO4中的漫散射。

Neutron triple axis spectrometer is one of the earliest developed and widest applied neutron scattering spectrometers. By using its three axes, the monochromator, the sample and the analyzer, the triple axis spectrometer is able to directly observe the scattering property of a point in the reciprocal and energy space, which is very suitable to study the various excitations in solids....
