闡述了生態(tài)環(huán)境材料的概念與內(nèi)涵,發(fā)展的動(dòng)向和取得的主要進(jìn)展,指出生態(tài)環(huán)境材料和傳統(tǒng)材料的生態(tài)化改造是今后材料及其產(chǎn)業(yè)可持續(xù)發(fā)展的方向。材料是保證循環(huán)經(jīng)濟(jì)、低碳經(jīng)濟(jì)得以發(fā)展的物質(zhì)基礎(chǔ),而生態(tài)設(shè)計(jì)則是實(shí)現(xiàn)材料和產(chǎn)品生態(tài)化改造和持續(xù)發(fā)展的指導(dǎo)思想。LCA(Life Cycle Assessment)是評(píng)價(jià)材料及其產(chǎn)業(yè)可持續(xù)發(fā)展進(jìn)程的有力工具。生態(tài)環(huán)境材料是一種與原有的材料相比較而產(chǎn)生、相比較而發(fā)展的新型材料,其判斷和認(rèn)知往往是相對(duì)的、動(dòng)態(tài)的和不斷發(fā)展的。當(dāng)普遍地把環(huán)境協(xié)調(diào)性作為所有材料必須具備的屬性之一時(shí),生態(tài)環(huán)境材料的提法也就失去了其單獨(dú)存在的意義:材料即為生態(tài)環(huán)境材料,這正是材料所追求的長(zhǎng)遠(yuǎn)目標(biāo)。

The definition, connotation, development trend, and main progress of eco materials are introduced. Adding environmental component to conventional materials and continuous innovation of eco materials will be the major sustainable research and development trends for materials industries and their key stakeholders. Eco materials are the substantial foundation of circular economy and lowcarbon economy. Eco design is the guiding philosophy for sustainable materials development and innovation. Life Cycle Assessment is a powerful tool to measure the progress of sustainability of materials and their industries. The nomenclature of eco materials has been continuously evolving; and it is always categorized to type of materials relevant to conventional ones. Once the ecofriendly character becomes a basic feature for materials, there will be no need to highlight the specific type of ecomaterials. Materials will be the eco materials that possess the eco friendly feature; and that’s exactly the long term goal of materials research and development.
