為了提高碳/碳(C/C)復合材料的抗燒蝕性能,在C/C基體上成功制備了碳化鋯(ZrC)高溫抗燒蝕涂層。用常壓化學氣相沉積法,前驅體選用ZrCl4+C3H6+H2+Ar體系。通過調節C3H6的流量,制得3種碳鋯原子比的ZrC陶瓷涂層(ZrC10+C, ZrC10, ZrC07)。分析了不同鋯碳比ZrC涂層的相組成和形貌差異,研究了鋯碳比對ZrC陶瓷涂層的燒蝕性能的影響。結果表明,3種ZrC涂層都可有效提高C/C復合材料的抗燒蝕性能,但由于微觀結構特征不同,3種涂層顯示不同的燒蝕性能和燒蝕機制。其中,ZrC07涂層試樣燒蝕后,表面形成致密的氧化物層,燒蝕性能最佳, 燒蝕240 s后質量燒蝕率和線燒蝕率分別為11×10-4 g/cm2·s和03×10-3 mm/s。

To improve the anti ablative properties of carbon/carbon (C/C) composites, the controlled preparation of zirconium carbide (ZrC) coatings of superstoichiometric, stoichiometric, and substoichiometric compositions has been achieved utilizing zirconium tetrachloride and propene precursor gases in an atmospheric pressure chemical vapor deposition system. The ablative properties of coated samples were tested in an oxyacetylene torch system. The phase compositions and morphological features of the coatings were investigated pre and post test. The results show that all types of ZrC coatings can protect C/C substrate from ablation.
