中樞神經(jīng)系統(tǒng)損傷導(dǎo)致神經(jīng)細(xì)胞死亡、組織破壞,造成神經(jīng)功能永久性缺失,是長期困擾生物醫(yī)學(xué)界的一大難題,目前尚無有效療法。組織工程技術(shù)不僅能通過納米生物材料為神經(jīng)細(xì)胞和神經(jīng)纖維生長提供結(jié)構(gòu)支持,還能同時遞送各種有利于神經(jīng)再生修復(fù)的活性信號分子,有望在促進(jìn)中樞神經(jīng)損傷組織修復(fù)的同時,實現(xiàn)神經(jīng)功能的重建,為中樞神經(jīng)損傷再生修復(fù)帶來希望。結(jié)合國內(nèi)外有關(guān)中樞神經(jīng)系統(tǒng)組織工程研究的最新進(jìn)展,對中樞神經(jīng)修復(fù)生物材料設(shè)計的主要策略、以及包括天然生物大分子和合成高分子在內(nèi)的多種中樞神經(jīng)修復(fù)生物材料的應(yīng)用進(jìn)行了詳細(xì)綜述。

Injuries to central nervous system (CNS) lead to severe and permanent neurological deficits. Tissue engineering is the most hopeful treatment by providing a regenerative environment in the CNS after injury as well as delivering cells to the injured site. Artificial scaffolds not only provide a suitable support for axonal regeneration and cellular migration, but delivery many bioactive molecules for neural repair. In this review we discuss the development of scaffolds and current strategies for designing scaffolds for CNS tissue engineering.
