鈦合金作為一種質輕、高強、耐腐蝕的優異輕型結構材料,能夠顯著提升艦船裝備技戰術性能,增強海洋安全保障能力。目前,艦船用鈦合金材料技術主要集中在俄、美、法、日、中等國家,其中俄羅斯、美國和法國在軍用艦船用鈦的研究和應用方面處于世界領先水平,而日本的民用艦船用鈦合金方面已經進行了很好地嘗試。文獻資料表明:鈦合金在艦船上主要用來制造耐壓殼體、熱交換器、冷凝器、核反應堆外殼以及配套管道系統,未來鈦合金在使用量和使用部位上還將會不斷擴大,新的先進加工成型技術及焊接技術仍然得到了充分重視,大力降低鈦合金部件的制造成本是目前國外發展的重點方向。近年來我國鈦工業得到了迅猛的發展,材料加工和成型技術以及裝備水平達到了很大地提高,而且鈦合金成本也降到了歷史最低水平,為鈦合金在艦船上的應用帶來了良好的機遇。因此,我國應充分重視“海洋金屬”鈦在艦船乃至海洋重要工程裝備上的應用研究和技術發展,以創新和超越的思路與理念為艦船提供安全性、可靠性和全壽命的保障,為實現海洋強國的戰略目標及海洋經濟創新發展提供重要的物質支撐。

As a lightweight, high strength, excellent corrosion resistance structural materials, titanium can significantly improve the technical and tactical performance of ships equipment, and enhance life-time security capabilities. Currently, titanium alloy and its manufacture technologies for ships using are mainly concentrated in Russia, the United States, France, Japan, China etc.. Russia, the United States and France have made a remarkable progress in titanium research and applications for warships, and the Japan is well know by titanium applications in civil ships. Literature shows that titanium and titanium alloys are mainly used for shell, heat exchanger, condensers, nuclear reactors shell as well as piping systems. Titanium and titanium alloy used for ships will continue to expand in the future, and some new advanced processes and technologies have be pay much more attention in order to reducing the cost of titanium parts manufactures. In recent years, Chinese titanium industry have made a great development, and titanium manufacture processes and forming technologies as well as its equipment levels have greatly improved, and also the cost of titanium alloy has dropped to historic lowest point, that makes the massive application of titanium alloy in ship meet a great opportunity. We should pay fully attentions to research and development of titanium alloy, which called “Marine metal”, and try to give a great support to the safety, reliability and security of the ships during its whole life.
