塊體金屬玻璃是一類新型合金材料,具有潛在重要應用價值,正被積極推廣到實際應用當中。微重力條件下塊體金屬玻璃研究不僅涉及玻璃形成機理、液體熱力學特征、過冷液體動力學行為以及深過冷液體形核與長大等等長期存在的基礎理論問題,也推動著此類材料的實際應用。本文梳理了過去三十年來國內外塊體金屬玻璃微重力條件下的研究進展,并對于未來國內塊體金屬玻璃微重力條件下的研究進行了展望。

Bulk metallic glasses, as new alloy materials with important and potential value, are being applied actively into industrial applications. Microgravity researches on the bulk metallic glasses not only involves some important fundamental issues, such as glass transition and formation mechanisms, thermodynamic and kinetic behaviors of undercooled liquids, and nucleation and growth of crystals in supercooling liquids, but also to promote practical applications of the special materials. This paper is a survey, with particular emphasis on thermophysical measurements containing specific heat capacity, viscosity and surface tensions in stable and undercooled liquids, and undercooling ability and glass formation of metallic glass formers under microgravity conditions by utilizing containerless processing and fluxing techniques over the past thirty years, in which outlook of the study on bulk metallic glass under microgravity in space is proposed.
