熱噴涂是一種用于材料表面改性和損傷修復(fù)的涂層制備技術(shù),具有工藝流程短、操作簡(jiǎn)單、設(shè)備靈活和大規(guī)模制備的特點(diǎn)。隨著熱噴涂技術(shù)和材料的不斷發(fā)展創(chuàng)新,在骨植入(如髖關(guān)節(jié)、膝關(guān)節(jié)、踝關(guān)節(jié)和肩關(guān)節(jié)等)醫(yī)療器械應(yīng)用領(lǐng)域中,借助熱噴涂技術(shù)成功制備出了具有生物相容性和獨(dú)特特性(如耐磨損、耐腐蝕和抑菌)的生物涂層。介紹了適用于生物涂層材料的熱噴涂制備技術(shù),總結(jié)了各類噴涂技術(shù)的原理、特點(diǎn)及優(yōu)缺點(diǎn);然后重點(diǎn)介紹了目前4種常用的生物涂層材料,其中包括羥基磷灰石、金屬Ti、氧化物(TiO2、ZrO2和Al2O3)和生物活性玻璃,并詳細(xì)闡述了每種材料的應(yīng)用特點(diǎn)和局限。最后,總結(jié)了熱噴涂涂層在骨植入醫(yī)療器械應(yīng)用中的技術(shù)發(fā)展方向和研究重點(diǎn)。

Thermal spraying technology is a coating deposition process used to modify and repair the surface of materials, which is characterized by the shorter process, simplicity of operation, flexible equipment and ability for large-scale production. With the development of thermal spraying technology and biomaterials, thermal spraying shows huge potential to prepare coatings with good biocompatibility and unique properties (e.g., corrosion-resistance, wear-resistance and bacteriostasis) on orthopedic implant devices, such as hip, knee, ankle and shoulder joints. Due to the advantages of flexibility and versatility in thermal spray processes, thermal sprayed materials can be applied in a broad range of applications in orthopedic implants. This paper first introduces the deposition method used for biomaterials in thermal spraying technology, with a focus on the characteristics, advantages and disadvantages of the three types of spraying techniques. Then, it introduces four commonly used biomedical coating materials and elaborates on the characteristics and limitations of each material in detail, including hydroxyapatite, Ti, ceramics (TiO2, ZrO2 and Al2O3) and bioactive glass. Finally, it discusses the current challenges and proposes the future development direction for thermal sprayed coating in the orthopedic implant devices.
